We recommend that clients utilise our contingency search service when hiring junior to mid level professionals. However, if the role is new or requires specialist skills we further recommend an our exclusive arrangement to secure our full commitment and time.
We operate on a ‘payment upon placement’ model with our contingency search, meaning clients do not pay until we have completed the assignment and the new hire has begun employment.
We aim to deliver a shortlist of carefully selected and pre-screened candidates for review, alongside further support during interview and offer stages. We set a timescale of 7 to 10 working days to create and submit the first shortlist, but can speed this up depending on urgency.
1. Client Brief
To initiate a contingency search, we will ask to speak with the hiring manager or decision maker to learn more about your requirements. This meeting allows us to set the parameters of the search, understand the business further and create our search strategy. Expect our consultants to ask plenty of questions here, the more information we gain the better our understanding of your requirements.
2. Candidate Shortlisting
Following the brief we will immediately begin shortlisting candidates against your requirements using both traditional and modern recruitment techniques, as well as industry leading technology to build a shortlist of candidates.
This includes a search of our existing database, advertising the role on industry relevant job boards, making proactive approaches to active candidates within global CV databases, and reaching out to our highly-nurtured social media networks. You can expect a final shortlist of both active and passive candidates, all of which are engaged and interested in the opportunity.
We support on all interview stages if required. This includes the scheduling of interviews, interview preparation and gathering of feedback post-interview. This is a critical stage of the process, to which we’ll be closely managing the candidate experience, managing expectations and uncovering any concerns early on.
4. Pre-Offer & Offer Management
Once the successful candidate has passed interview stages, we will partner with you to deliver a pre-offer, the final offer and support the close.
