We recommend our executive search service for appointments of a senior, highly specialised or mission-critical nature. As per our commitment to quality and service, only Principal and Director level Consultants within VR have authority to pitch or carry out executive assignments.


Our processes follow a tried and tested approach, taking us and our clients through the entire journey of fact-finding, market research and talent mapping, headhunting and shortlist delivery and support.

1. Assignment Kick-off

We’ll work with you to understand your full hiring needs and search specification, further supporting on job creation and descriptions if you do not already have this prepared. In addition to understand the role, we aim to better understand the businesses vision and culture.

2. Market Research & Talent Mapping

Before undertaking a search we’ll complete market research and talent mapping to identify both companies and talent we wish to headhunt from.

3. Generation of Supporting Collateral

We generate supporting material to assist us with our approach. This is an important step to ensure that our messaging is right and that we’re positioning your opportunity and firm in the best possible light.

4. Search & Selection

VR will deliver a shortlist of pre-qualified candidates that we represent the upper quartile of the interested talent pool, taking into account the requirements of the role, the company vision and culture within.

5. Interview Support

We support on all interview stages as agreed during the kick-off session. This includes the scheduling of interviews, interview preparation and gathering of feedback post-interview. This is a critical stage of the process, to which we’ll be closely managing the candidate experience, managing expectations and uncovering any concerns early on.

6. Supporting The Close

Once the successful candidate has passed interview stages, we will partner with you to deliver the offer and support the close. Providing full references, managing notice periods and ensuring a smooth transition into your employment.

7. Post-Placement Checkups

We’ll stick with you and the candidate throughout the first 3-months of their employment, ensuring both parties are happy.
